@Viking, just read merciless's post and others below it, that is why this article is posted on N4G. It's just kindling for the fire.
Manuals? I don't remember any manuals? Then again I don't remember last week either?
Nice blog, very funny, and very correct. Been gaming since Atari Pong in the late 70's, so I've seen a lot of the evolution of gaming.
Finally a dual console headset!!! And $59 to boot, will be ordering right away!!
It will also need a killer app, and the rest of the apps cannot feel like the kind of shovel ware we got with the Wii, Move, and Kinect when they came out.
I am interested to see where this VR technology goes, or if it goes.
But then you get random public peeps!! You cant yell at them in real life, telling them to train their Drivatars better!!
It wont right now, but I strongly believe as the tech gets better and lighter it will eventually be a huge part of gaming. Because gaming has evolved with each generation, and each generation its the immersion of the games that get better each time.
Does rest of the world include North America. As far as I know none of the other four WRC games were released here. I miss playing Collin McRae Racing back in the day, it was an awesome rally simulator.
@Viking, isn't choice a wonderful thing?
What was the one for Commodore 64 called? I remember buying it, reading it, and at the back was always code for a game you program on your C64. Then save it to your tape to be able to play later on.

No talk of exclusivity

No talk of exclusivity? Would you like me to keep going? There is plenty of articles even he...
8 laps of the Nurburgring, requiring two pit stops or you would of run out of fuel!! A little over an hour it took. I love that they brought back the endurance races!!
Ok so is dynamic day and night cycles and dynamic weather required for realism in a sim racer? The majority of races are 3 laps long, so to see a day night cycle in three laps is that needed? Is full weather cycle needed in a three lap race? Sure if you could sit down for 24hrs to race Lemans, and experience everything, that would be awesome, but who can realistically do that?
Just curious as to why this is so important to some people?
I noticed you can turn of the aggressiveness of the drivatars. Making the less likely to block you when attempting to pass, or more likely to dive for the corner even if you are there. I haven't taken it off yet, as to a certain degree I like the punishment. Trying to pass two cars running abreast in the rain. Or the break checking some of the do. I have on occasion felt like sending some people nasty PM's about how they train their drivatars!!
Can't wait to try out the Leagues MP part. Just glanced at it briefly this morning, but did not try it out. It looks like it could be an awesome addition to the MP portion of the game.
Played for an hour this morning before work, now itching to get back home to play!
While I don't necessarily disagree with some of your comments about Gran Turismo. I do disagree with calling the track editor a game changer! All you could do with that track editor was manipulate certain aspects of preset track. Make this turn a little sharper, give it a little more elevation here, etc.. the track still stayed the same. You had no free will to make a truly your own track! So no I don't think it was a game changer.
$399 for the wheel - http://www.fanatec.com/us-e...
$599 for the base - http://www.fanatec.com/us-e...
To be honest with you, I don't know if any of this includes the pedals or not?
They are talking about Euro's not North American dollars. That's why the discrepancy.
@ Kil, just checked the N.A store, $399 just for the wheel, and an additional $599 for the base, that's almost a whopping grand just for a racing wheel!! I do like the fact they are compatible with both PS4 and Xbox 1. But that's a lot of dough to spend.
Can't recall, but is there a SP portion to this game?
